My child had a rough time transitioning to a daycare, but Sabrina and the golden valley staff were very patient and understanding. They did a great job of not overloading us (parents) with bad news, and only offered suggestions when asked. Sabrina, the director, always provided good news to go along with bad. I always appreciated this, because, even if it was a stressful situation, she presented it in a way that ended hopeful and positive. I am glad we decided to enroll our child at Golden Valley.

My daughter went to Golden Valley for the summer as her first preschool experience. We had some challenges with potty training but she was out of diapers within weeks of starting at GVA! She loved preschool - especially Miss Carey (who always called her "pretty girl" )
Pros: Potty training assistance, balanced snacks and meals provided, very accommodating hours, online portal makes the discounted prepayment option super easy.

Con: This may be due to the covid precautions they're taking as a center, but it was very hard to get any face time with her classroom teachers to get information or general feedback. I rarely knew how she was doing in terms of growth and development or socially.
Still, my daughter was well taken care of and happy when I picked her up so I recommend them for those looking for a little extra potty training support or those who need longer child care hours.

I enjoy GVA! I have been with them since 2018 of August. I enjoy Ms Sabrina and Ms Jennifer care for my son. The other teachers there, I have not had any chances of meeting them since now I know the ins and out of the care center. I just drop my kid and go. But they are all very lovely, kind, and care about my son's well being. I would not have been able to do what I need to do go to school, work without their help. The perks is that they are always there for me and my son. I love that they take my son to and from daycare. They are easy to work with. They are very understanding. i can not thank you enough!

I really enjoy my children being at this Center, they constantly communicate .. my children love it. Their meals are freshly prepared my kids talk About how much fun they have learning and making new friends. And staff are very friendly

Our daughter attends GOLDEN VALLEY ACADEMY and we could not be happier. The teacher to student ratios are the best we found in CHILD care program and the teachers in our daughter's classroom are experienced, organized, calm, and nurturing. They really understand child development and everything they do is tailored to the ages and capabilities of the children in the classroom.
Doing the basics well - eating, napping, exercise - are always top priority and the teachers have helped our daughter get on a schedule. In addition to the basics, the kids go outside almost every day, they do art projects & read, they have special sensory stimulation (playing with sand, smelling citrus fruits) and they work on gross and fine motor skills purposefully -.
Another thing that we loved is that the children are pretty tightly grouped in age. At another preschool we looked at, the 3 month olds were with babies around the age of 1 and there was only 1 teacher for every 4 babies. The classrooms were chaotic and the level of calm at GOLDEN VALLEY ACADEMY is completely different from that environment.
The school is run incredibly well. no matter how small - and always put the children first. It's so comforting to know that our child is safe & cherished by her caregivers.
We looked at other preschools in the area but none of them even came close to the level of care at GOLDEN VALLEY ACADEMY.

12 years ago, I remember picking and dropping my cousin here. He use to love this school. And my niece went here as well. Whenever I pass by this school brings me back memories. I call it the yellow school.

This school has very thoughtful staff. They care about the children and want them to be prepared for kindergarten. It feels more like a home daycare than a daycare facility. I am happy to have found them. My daughter loves heading to school each and every morning!

This school was like a second home for my son after disaster experiences at corporate and home preschools. The staff is warm and supportive. Any reviews contrary are ridiculous!

GVA is a great place! I have had nothing but a positive experience with Golden Valley Academy. Safe, caring, friendly and educational environment for children. The curriculum is age appropriate. I have done multiple unannounced visits. However, there were no issues or complaint's regarding my pop-up. Any parent should always take the time to visit thier child's school prior to any issues or concerns. This is helpful to ensure your child is safe, comfortable, and their needs are being met in a structured school environment. I impressed with the teacher interaction and the activities provided for the kids at GVA. There is a balance of fun and education being provided and my child seems to be very happy. Ms. Tricia and Ms. Carrie are very involved as to the other teachers and assistants at GVA. Couldn't be more pleased with GVA.

My 3-year-old daughter has been going here for about 6 months now and she absolutely LOVES it. I love the fact that her teacher teaches her to improve her speech skills. She comes home singing her ABC's & "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star". I also went here as a child and I love the fact that Child Action helps cover the costs. Highly recommend this school!

Hands down the best Daycare in ELK GROVE. CA. My daughter had been coming here since she was two years old and got the best education. Within the 1st two weeks for my daughter being in the 2s class she knew all her numbers,colors,letters and how to spell her name. And the Staff and so loving and wonderful. Ms. Trica is sweetst person and will help you with your tours or the school and all your other needs! If you want great prices this is your place 🙂

LOVE..LOVE..LOVE!! My daughter attended this school from the age of 2 till preschool graduation and still returns as a "Big Kid". GVA is a family atmosphere and I never think twice when dropping my child off there. I chose this school over many well known preschools due to the family environment. All the children that are there are loved and well cared for. At one point my finances were a little bad and the owner of the school worked with me in order for me to keep my child there. I recommend this school and believe me I am very picky when it comes to my daughter!

My granddaughter started Golden Valley when she was 2 1/2 and she is now in the first grade. She currently is enrolled in the before/after school program. While she is there I always know she is in excellent hands and I never have to worry. The teachers are great and she learned so much from them that she was able to enter kindergarten early. The staff maintains a great balance of fun, learning, and discipline. Not only are they amazing teachers but they are such wonderful women who have a true passion for what they do - teach, nurture, guide, love, etc.
They are flexible, accommodating and are like my extended family.
I hope to recommend Golden Valley to any parent looking for an excellent daycare/preschool program
